Red Kite Forest School
Red Kite Forest School was set up by founder and director Helen Murray in 2019.
Helen is a qualified Level 3 Forest School Practitioner and Level 3 Childcare Practitioner with over a decade of teaching experience.
Helen believes nature and the outdoors are a fantastic way for children to both learn and unwind.

Fun Outdoor Learning
Red Kite Forest School offers children opportunities to engage with nature.
Forest School recognises the importance of children’s contact with nature, and supports the concept that children should be allowed to play, explore, learn and develop outside - not just within the confines of a traditional classroom.
Nature allows children to develop their confidence, courage and spontaneity. The opportunities for memorable and deep learning experiences are truly magnificent.
Forest School educates children in risk taking within a controlled environment, where they can blossom and grow both their skills and their self belief.
Contact with the outdoors is often limited for many children in modern society, and the vital experiences from the great outdoors and from being in nature are slowly being lost.
